IMPACT Wrestling is looking for the next pro wrestling stars as two Gut Check tryout events are confirmed in conjunction with the upcoming UK Invasion Tour.
IMPACT Wrestling has confirmed the talent roster for its upcoming UK Invasion Tour, marking the company’s first tour of the UK in eight years. The much-anticipated shows will take place in Glasgow (October 26), Newcastle (October 27) and Coventry (October 28 and 29).
The episodes of Impact! on Thursday, September 14 and September 21 (8 p.m. EST on AXS TV) will share the action and excitement of the 1,000th episode, featuring stars from the TNA/IMPACT Wrestling past, present and future – and the episode this Thursday will run longer than the normal 2-hour time-slot.
To help celebrate the 1,000th episode of Impact!, fans are invited to make a full day out of the milestone at the “IMPACT 1,000 Fan Celebration” on Saturday, September 9, at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY from 11am – 3pm. The celebration will feature meet & greet opportunities for autographs and photo-ops, Q&A sessions and exclusive IMPACT Wrestling merchandise and collectibles.
IMPACT Wrestling will debut at the annual Canadian National Exhibition (CNE), an 18-day event at Exhibition Place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, that draws about 1.5 million visitors each year, culminating in early September. IMPACT Wrestling today confirmed it will present multiple matches on Friday and Saturday, August 25-26, in advance of the Emergence and Emergence Fallout shows, scheduled for Sunday and Monday, August 27-28, at the Rebel Entertainment Complex in downtown Toronto. All IMPACT matches at the CNE will be held by the Food Building.
Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets, IMPACT Wrestling today confirmed a second show will be held in Coventry, England: Sunday, October 29, also at HMV Empire. IMPACT Wrestling’s UK Invasion Tour is shaping up to be one of the best in company history with four consecutive nights of high-energy, action-packed pro wrestling, including championship matches.
IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer GAIL KIM and IMPACT Wrestling World Champion ALEX SHELLEY will be the special guests on the Press Pass Podcast on Wednesday, August 2, starting at 2pm EST. They will be talking everything IMPACT Wrestling, days before tickets to the UK Invasion Tour go on-sale on Friday, August 4 – and both will talk about past TNA/IMPACT Wrestling tours in the UK. After the successful Down Under Tour in Australia, IMPACT Wresting will head back overseas this October for the UK Invasion Tour! These will be IMPACT’s first major British shows in almost eight years and will feature exclusive championship matches.
