Later in the night, Steve Maclin remained IMPACT World Champion when he defeated PCO in a violent No Disqualification match. Mike Bailey faced off against Ryusuke Taguchi on day 8 of the NJPW Best of the Super Jr. 30 from Tokyo’s Korakuen Hall. While Taguchi was mathematically eliminated from the tournament, perhaps he was looking to play spoiler as Bailey was locked in a tie for 1st place in A Block.
