Trick Williams, Moose, Oba Femi & Je’Von Evans Fend Off an Attack From DarkState on WWE NXT

TNA World Champion Trick Williams confronted NXT Champion Oba Femi this week on WWE NXT. Williams vowed to become a double champion when he was interrupted by Je’Von Evans, who also laid claim to the NXT Championship.
Moments later, Moose made his presence felt as he returned to NXT and promised to dethrone Trick Williams in their scheduled TNA World Championship bout at Emergence, streaming LIVE August 15 on TNA+ from Baltimore, Maryland.
In a shocking turn of events, Williams, Femi, Evans and Moose would join forces to fend off an attack from DarkState. NXT General Manager Ava announced that next Tuesday, the two squads will do battle in an eight-man tag team match. Then, in two weeks on NXT, Trick Williams will battle Je’Von Evans with the winner challenging Oba Femi for the NXT Championship at WWE Heatwave.
Earlier in the night, The Personal Concierge was sent on behalf of The Elegance Brand to deliver a warning message to the reigning TNA Knockouts World Champion and NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne. Jayne will defend the TNA Knockouts World Title against Ash By Elegance on TNA iMPACT! this Thursday at 8/7c on TNA+ worldwide, Sportsnet 360 in Canada and at 9/8c on AXS TV in the US.
Next Tuesday on NXT, Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley will battle Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice in tag team action.
Meanwhile, Wren Sinclair said his name and Joe Hendry appeared. Hendry was involved in a verbal altercation with the leader of the No Quarter Catch Crew, Charlie Dempsey, setting the stage for a match between the two next week.
Before that, Joe Hendry will take on Mustafa Ali for the first time ever this Thursday on TNA iMPACT!
